What is CBD?
CBD, short for cannabidiol, is a naturally occurring compound found in hemp. CBD is not the same as delta-9 THC and is not intended to produce an intoxicating “high.”
CBD strength: total milligrams versus concentration
The milligram number describes the CBD in the full container. Concentration describes how much CBD is in a given amount of product.
For example, our CBD Pain Cream — 2 oz | 2,000mg CBD and CSR Pain Cream — 8 oz | 8,000mg CBD (Cream Only) both list 1,000mg of CBD per ounce. The 8 oz bottle contains four times as much cream and total CBD; it has the same listed concentration.
Choose a container size around how much product you want to keep on hand. Total CBD is not the amount in one application, and a bigger milligram number does not guarantee better results. Follow the individual product label.
Which topical should I choose?
The 2 oz cream is a smaller entry point, the 8 oz cream is designed for more frequent use, and a stick offers cleaner, portable application. Higher milligram numbers mean more CBD in the container; they do not guarantee faster or better results.
How do I use a topical?
Apply a small amount to clean, dry, unbroken skin and massage it in. Follow the product label, avoid the eyes and mouth, and wash your hands after use. Patch test first if you have sensitive skin.
How quickly will I notice anything?
There is no guaranteed timeline. Skin type, application amount, product strength, and individual response all vary. We do not promise results within a specific number of minutes.
Are the topicals THC-free?
Products specifically described as THC-free are formulated with CBD isolate and without intentionally added THC. Review the label and available COA for the product and batch. Testing limits vary, so no hemp product can be guaranteed not to affect a drug test.
Where can I find lab reports?
Visit our Lab Results & COAs page. The reports currently posted there are clearly identified as historical. For a current product, contact us with the product name and lot or batch number.
Can these products treat arthritis, fibromyalgia, inflammation, or another condition?
